A estrutura argumental preferida (EAP) em diversas sincronias do português : um exercício de analise do verbo-suporte tomar no português arcaico

Abstract

This study had the purpose of studying the Preferred argument structure (PAS) in various synchronicities of Portuguese. The analysis was based on studies of the PAS as well as the characteristics of the support-verb, stressing the support-verb tomar texts from thirteenth to sixteenth centuries. It was chosen by considering a single verb that way the analysis becomes more precise, since there are many verbs to make these buildings possible-support. The research is justified by these constructs are not a subject much worked today, especially concerning the PAS. The analysis was based on studies of the Preferred argument structure (PAS) as well as the characteristics of verbs-support. With respect to the PAS, it was observed, especially, the transitivity of verbs, the arguments required by them and which of these arguments were lexicalized. Concerning the verbs-support, it was observed "detransitivização" of verbs, relativization, the characterization of the noun phrase (SN) and the reverse order that sometimes present. Finally, we compared the results obtained from analysis of phases previous with existing studies of the Portuguese today.
