O Rugby nas aulas de educação física do ensino médio : desafios e possibilidades

Abstract

Resumo: O presente estudo teve por objetivo identificar as dificuldades e os facilitadores metodológicos para o ensino do Rugby na Educação Física escolar do Ensino Médio em escolas na cidade de Maringá-PR. Para alcançá-lo, foi realizado um estudo qualitativo pautado no método da pesquisaação, permitindo analisar os problemas concernentes ao espaço escolar e refletir acerca das melhores possibilidades de intervenção a partir do contexto estudado. Fizeram parte do estudo uma professora de Educação Física atuante em dois Colégios Estaduais, um membro da direção, um membro da equipe pedagógica e duas turmas de Ensino Médio representantes de cada Colégio. Para a coleta de dados, foram utilizados a observação, o diário de campo, a entrevista semiestruturada realizada com a professora, diretores e pedagogos e uma ficha de avaliação aplicada aos alunos. Foi possível constatar como dificuldades para a inserção deste conteúdo, a falta de conhecimento profissional sobre os conteúdos da Educação Física, estrutura física e material limitada, ausência de materiais didáticos, a resistência a novos conteúdos e a agressividade no esporte. Além disso, ainda que tenhamos enfrentado resistência e outras limitações ao tematizar o Rugby nas aulas de Educação Física, foi possível entrever possibilidades valiosas apresentando algumas estratégias didáticas que podem auxiliar o professor em sua prática pedagógica, além de despertar nos tanto nos alunos quanto na equipe da escola a necessidade de mudanças no contexto educacional rompendo com a prática do rola bola e oportunizando a tematização de novos conteúdos de modo que permitam ao aluno estabelecer sentido e significado em sua prática. Ao tratar de novas tematizações o professor está sujeito a resistências que se moldam em um embate histórico concentrado nos últimos trinta anos. A partir dessa pesquisa, buscamos dar voz ao professor no que tange ao convencimento da comunidade escolar da importância de sua prática pedagógica, trazendo ponderações sobre os limites e possibilidades da tematização do Rugby na Educação Física no Ensino Médio

Abstract: The present study aimed to identify the difficulties and methodological facilitators for the teaching of Rugby in Physical Education in High School in schools in the city of Maringa-PR. To achieve this goal, a qualitative study was carried out based on the action-research method, allowing to analyze the problems concerning the school space and to reflect on the best possibilities of intervention from within the context studied. The study included a Physical Education teacher working in two State Colleges, a member of the board, a member of the pedagogical team and two high school classes representing each College. For the data collection, observation, field diary, semi-structured interview with the teacher, principals and pedagogy were used and an evaluation form was applied to the students. It was possible to verify how difficulties in the insertion of this content, the lack of professional knowledge about the contents of Physical Education, physical structure and limited material, lack of teaching materials, resistance to new contents and aggressiveness in sport. In addition, although we have faced resistance and other limitations in thematizing Rugby in Physical Education classes, it was possible to glimpse valuable possibilities presenting some didactic strategies that can help the teacher in his pedagogical practice, besides awakening in both the students and the team of the school the need of changes in the educational context breaking with the practice of the ball roll and opportunizing the thematization of new contents so that they allow the student to establish meaning and meaning in their practice. In dealing with new thetizations the teacher is subject to resistances that are molded in a historical clash concentrated in the last thirty years. From this research, we seek to give the teacher a voice regarding the convincing of the school community about the importance of their pedagogical practice, bringing considerations about the limits and possibilities of the theme of Rugby in Physical Education in High School
