A caracterização da produção de hortaliças no município de Ortigueira estado do Paraná : uma oportunidade para a mecanização agrícola

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho teve por objetivo levantar e caracterizar a mecanização agrícola nos sistemas de produção de hortaliças da agricultura familiar do município de Ortigueira dos produtores associados à Associação de Produção Orgânica do Assentamento Imbauzinho – Terra e Vida. Surgiu da necessidade de conhecer melhor a realidade local, com vistas a elencar as iniciativas de produção de hortaliças e de tecnologias desenvolvidas pelas famílias para garantir sua existência e outras estratégias que possam fortalecer o desenvolvimento da horticultura com auxílio da mecanização agrícola. Além disso, o estudo procurou resgatar o conceito de tecnologia como forma de valorizar a mecanização agrícola na produção de hortaliças e a persistência das famílias para permanecer no campo, mesmo nas condições desfavoráveis em que vivem, enfrentadas tanto no contexto nacional como no contexto local. Para aprofundar a compreensão sobre o assunto, foi feita uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a mecanização agrícola, tanto na forma de tecnologia quanto do meio de trabalho das famílias, como tentativa de desenvolvimento da atividade. Para tanto, o estudo se apoiou em autores que debatem os conceitos e em fontes que expressam a realidade dos produtores. Foi realizado um o resgate da mecanização agrícola e da modernização, desde a escala nacional até o contexto local do município de Ortigueira, entendendo a mecanização na produção de hortaliças para além dela, integrando o contexto em que sobrevivem os produtores de hortaliças ligados à Associação de Produção Orgânica do Assentamento Imbauzinho – TERRA E VIDA. As informações que embasaram este trabalho foram coletadas a partir de entrevistas semiestruturadas com todas as 26 famílias ligadas à citada Associação. Além disso, buscamos informações por meio de dados locais, registrados em livros da associação, ou em pesquisas anteriores feitas no local. A vivência no lugar e os conhecimentos prévios sobre a realidade local contribuíram para o levantamento das informações. A análise dos resultados permitiu mostrar como a mecanização agrícola pode colaborar com a Agroecologia e com a produção de hortaliças, o que fortalece ainda mais a o desenvolvimento da atividade entre as famílias. A pesquisa também desvendou as iniciativas de produção existentes, tendo em vista a importância da diversificação produtiva na geração de renda e para o consumo familiar, elementos fundamentais para o fortalecimento da autonomia das famílias. Por meio da identificação das iniciativas envolvendo a mecanização agrícola que as famílias desenvolvem, foi possível verificar que uma das formas de fortalecer a prática da Agroecologia é a implementação de apropriadas tecnologias

Abstract: The objective of this work is to identify and characterize agricultural mechanization in the vegetable production systems of family farms in the municipality of Ortigueira of the producers Settlement in the associated with the Organic Production Association of the Imbauzinho - Terra e Vida. Begin the need to know better the local reality with a view to listing the initiatives of production of vegetables and technologies developed by the families to keep their existence and other strategies that can strengthen the development of horticulture with the aid of agricultural mechanization. The study rescue the concept of technology and valorize agricultural mechanization in the production of vegetables and the persistence of families that produce to stay in the field even in the unfavorable conditions in which peasant families, faced both in the national context and In the local context. For research a bibliographical revision was made on the agricultural mechanization, both in the form of technology and the way of working in the way developed by the families as an attempt to develop the activity. For this, the study was based on authors who debate the concepts and on sources that express the reality of the producers. It was made a rescue of the agricultural mechanization and modernization, from the national scale to the local answer of the municipality of Ortigueira, understanding the mechanization in the production of vegetables, beyond it, integrating the context in which the producers of vegetables related to Organic Production Association of the Settlement Imbauzinho – TERRA E VIDA (LAND AND LIFE). The information that supported this work was collected from semi-structured interviews with all 26 families linked to the Organic Production Association of the Imbauzinho Settlement - TERRA E VIDA. Informations was sought through local data recorded in association books or in previous surveys conducted on the spot. It should be noted that the experience in the place contributed to the collection of information, as well as previous knowledge about the local reality. The analysis of the results allowed to show how agricultural mechanization can collaborate with Agroecology and the production of vegetables, strengthening the activity development among the families. The research also uncovered the existing production initiatives in view of the importance of productive diversification in income generation and family consumption, fundamental elements for strengthening autonomy and income generation. Finally, besides identifying the strategies involving the agricultural mechanization that the families developed in the Settlement, it was possible to demonstrate out ways to strengthen the peasant resistance through the practice of Agroecology with the technologies implementation
