Possibilidades e limites das ações de responsabilidade social em organizações cooperativas : o caso Cocamar

Abstract

RESUMO: O objetivo deste trabalho foi compreender as ações que resultam do Projeto de Responsabilidade Social da Cocamar, observando a condição das ações como responsabilidade social ou obrigações cooperativistas. Para tanto, foi realizado um percurso teórico sobre cooperativismo e a responsabilidade social, servindo como base para atingir o objetivo proposto. Porém, foi utilizada como análise dos dados, a técnica de análise de discurso, por ser o discurso parte do processo de construção social da realidade. Essa técnica de análise de dados observa que a visão de mundo dos sujeitos são reflexos do contexto histórico-social em que eles se relacionam, representado pelo mundo da vida cotidiana. De acordo com o arcabouço teórico e os procedimentos metodológicos foram realizadas entrevistas com os atores envolvidos com o Projeto de Responsabilidade Social da Cocamar, buscando compreender, na visão destes atores, que pressupostos guiam e produzem sentido no discurso sobre a responsabilidade social, estabelecendo uma relação entre esse discurso e os princípios que guiam as discussões sobre o cooperativismo. Analisando os dados coletados nesta pesquisa, confrontando-os com a teoria pertinente sobre a responsabilidade social e o cooperativismo, descobriu-se que, quando as cooperativas implementam um projeto de responsabilidade social, deixam de fortalecer o próprio cooperativismo, pelo fato de não divulgar o movimento que, por sua vez, busca o desenvolvimento social, econômico e cultural. Foi constatado nesse estudo, que a responsabilidade social está intimamente ligada a um contexto empresarial, onde tais práticas são utilizadas pelas empresas capitalistas, com o intuito de dirimir os problemas sociais. ABSTRACT: The objective of this paper was to understand the actions that result of the Project of Social Responsibility of Cocamar, observing the condition of the actions as social responsibility or obligations of the cooperatives. Thus, a theoretical course was accomplished about cooperative philosophy and the social responsibility, serving as base to reach the proposed objective. However, it was used as analysis of the data, the technique of speech analysis, for being the speech part of the process of social construction of the reality. That technique of analysis of data observes that the vision of world of the subjects is reflexes of the historical-social context in that they link, represented by the world of the daily life. In agreement with the vast theoretical and the methodological procedures were accomplished interviews with the actors involved with the Project of Social Responsibility of Cocamar, looking for to understand, in these actors' vision, that presupposed guides and they produce sense in the speech about the social responsibility, establishing a relationship among that speech and the beginnings that guide the discussions on the cooperative philosophy. Analyzing the data collected in this research, confronting them with the pertinent theory on the social responsibility and the cooperative philosophy, it was discovered that, when the cooperatives implement a project of social responsibility, they stop strengthening the own cooperative movement, for the fact of not publishing this movement, stopping looking for social, economical and cultural development. It was verified in that study, that the social responsibility is intimately linked to a managerial context, where such practices are used by the capitalist companies, with the supply intention the social problems.
