Arte, história e memória : as representações plásticas e as paisagens de Dario "Primo" Araújo - Irati - PR (1920-1930)

Abstract

RESUMO: Nossa proposta. é a de efetuar um estudo histórico conjugando as representações: plásticas de Dario "Primo" Araújo. e as: abordagens sobre o contexto histórico do Paraná e da cidade de Irati entre os anos de 1920 a 1930, período que o artista a retrata nas paisagens de sua infância e juventude em que o artista residiu a maior parte da vida a inserção do Estado do Paraná nas. primeiras décadas do século XX, bem como o papel dos imigrantes europeus nesse processo e por fim desenvolver um estudo de como se deu a representação plástica. criada pelo artista: articulando esses elementos sociais, históricos e artísticos em suas obras. O trabalho também consiste em se efetuar uma análise que contemple não.apenas uma abordagem baseada nos cânones estabelecidos pela "História da . Arte clássica, no sentido d classificação: em escolas e estilos mas exercitar o ofício do historiador seja no desenvolvimento de uma metodologia de investigação que privilegie, as imagens tal qual as. demais. fontes, destacando:’os. seus limites e possibilidades interpretativas, seja na análise do contexto histórico que: propiciou ao artista produzir suas obras

ABSTRACT: Our proposal is the one of making a historical study conjugating the plastic ropresentations of Dario "Primo" Araújo and the approaches on the historical context of Paraná and of the.city of Irati among the years from 1920 to 1930, period that the artist portrays her/it in the Iandscapes of his childhood and youth. The challenge lives in. articulating the approaches on. the historical context of the city and area in that the artist lived most of the life, the insert of the State of Paraná in the first decades of the century XX, as weIl as the European. immigrants’ paper in that process, and finally to develop a study of as she felt the pIastic representation created by the artist articulating those elements social, historical and artistic in their works. The work also consists of making. an analysis to not just contemplate an approach based in the: established. canons by the "History of the classic Art", in the classification sense in schools and styles, but to exercise the historian’s occupation be in the development of an investigation methodology that. privileges the images just Iike the other sources, detaching their Iimits and interpretative possibilities, be in the analysis of the historical context that propitiated the artist to produce their works
