Aproximações sobre o existir do outro no cotidiano da relação professor-aluno : um estudo na Universidade Estadual de Maringá – PR

Abstract

O intuito desta tese foi fazer aproximações sobre o existir do Outro, por meio da viagem da alteridade (professor-aluno) no cotidiano de uma turma do primeiro ano de um curso de graduação da Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM). A temática do Outro no decorrer dos Estudos Organizacionais e da Administração como um todo tem sido um problema desconsiderado. O Outro (sujeito) quando pensado como uma outra existência apresenta um profundo problema, pois seu mundo privado, sua Outridade é quase inacessível pelas diversas formas de análise existentes. Não obstante, enxerguei nos aportes teóricos de Certeau (1998, 2011) e Merleau-Ponty (2012, 2014, 2015) a possibilidade de conhecer, sentir alguns dos seus vestígios, de suas marcas existenciais no encontro com o Outro no cotidiano, na viagem da alteridade. Para tanto, realizei observação participante em uma turma do primeiro ano de um curso de graduação da UEM no ano letivo de 2017 e entrevistei 21 alunos e 9 professores dessa turma. As entrevistas foram semiestruturadas, gravadas, transcritas e devolvidas aos participantes. Tentei, por meio de citações diretas dos relatos de experiências vividas, trazer alguns rastros do mundo vivido pelos sujeitos pesquisados que carregam vestígios da sua Outridade. As análises dessas narrativas foram procurando a fala falante que os alunos e professores me transmitiam nesses escritos, que iam ao encontro do fenômeno da alteridade na relação professor-aluno. Destarte, foi a partir da análise destas narrativas e da minha experiência vivida junto aos sujeitos pesquisados, que foi possível compreender que a universidade - UEM conforma vários lugares habitados por Mesmidades e Outridades (professores e alunos), sujeitos heterogêneos, os quais têm diversas formas de se relacionar com o mundo, diversas formas de existir, assim enxerguei a alteridade como o fundamento relacional com o Outro (professor-aluno) e com o mundo, sendo a base da interação social, pois nela acontece a ligação dos sujeitos, se encontrando naturalmente expostos, sempre atravessados pelo Outro e o Outro pelo Mesmo, como assinalava Merleau-Ponty (2015). Também foi possível compreender que nesse encontro com o Outro (professor-aluno), surge (como um segundo momento) uma resposta a esse atravessamento, um interesse ou desinteresse, proximidade ou distanciamento, sensações, práticas que estão permeadas por relações de força, em que é possível lidar com o Outro (professor-aluno) por meio de táticas ou estratégias. Ainda, esta pesquisa possibilitou enxergar o espaço organizacional da universidade como um espaço existencial, espaço anterior às teorizações, espaço onde os sujeitos (professores e alunos) são seres existentes

The purpose of this thesis was to make approaches about the existence of the Other, through the journey of alterity (professor-student) in the everyday of a first-year class of an undergraduate course at the State University of Maringá (UEM). The subject matter of the Other in the Organizational Studies and Business has been a disregarded problem. The Other (subject) when thought as another existence presents a thoughtful problem because in its private world, its Otherness is almost inaccessible by the vast methods of existing analysis. Notwithstanding, I saw in the theoretical contributions of Certeau (1998, 2011) and Merleau-Ponty (2012, 2014, 2015) the possibility of knowing, feeling some of their vestiges, of their existential marks when encountering the Other in the everyday in the journey of alterity. For this purpose, I observed a first-year class of an undergraduate course of UEM in the academic year of 2017 and interviewed 21 students and 9 professors of that class. The interviews were partially structured, recorded, transcribed and sent back to the participants. Through direct quotations from the lived experiences reports I tried to bring some evidences of the world lived by the researched individuals who carry vestiges of their Otherness. The analyzes of these narratives were looking for the speaking of the speaker that students and professors transmitted to me in these writings, that met the phenomenon of alterity in the professor-student relationship. Therefore, it was from the analysis of these narratives and from my lived experience with the researched subjects that it was possible to understand that the university - UEM - gather a variety of places inhabited by Sameness and Otherness (professors and students), heterogeneous subjects, who have a wide variety of ways to interact with the world, many ways of existence, and so I saw the alterity as the relational foundation with the Other (professor-student) and with the world, being the basis of social interaction, because in it occurs the connection of the subjects, meeting naturally exposed, always crossed by the Other and the Other by the Same, as pointed out by Merleau-Ponty (2015). It was also possible to understand that in this encounter with the Other (professor-student), appears an answer (as a second moment) to this crossing, an interest or disinterest, proximity or distance, sensations, practices that are permeated by strength clashes, in which it is possible to deal with the Other (professor-student) through tactics or strategies. In addition, this research also allowed acknowledge the organizational space of the university as an existential space, a previous space to the theorizations, space where subjects (professors and students) are existing beings
