Leitura e análise linguística por meio do gênero propaganda impressa : ressignificando o plano de trabalho docente

Abstract

RESUMO: Esta pesquisa de mestrado profissional tem por objetivo elaborar uma proposta pedagógica através do gênero do discurso propaganda impressa no contexto do quinto ano do Ensino Fundamental. A escolha desse gênero deve-se ao fato de estar presente no currículo da rede municipal em que a professora-pesquisadora trabalha, da receptividade e envolvimento dos alunos em práticas de leitura e análise linguística desses gêneros discursivos, seja em momentos de estudos ou no decorrer de campanhas sociais em que a rede de ensino participa, bem como pela preocupação em atender aos interesses sociais do trabalho em sala de aula com gêneros multimodais. No entanto, diante das práticas discursivas de linguagem vivenciadas nas aulas de Língua Portuguesa em que o gênero está presente, percebemos que, no geral, os alunos realizam uma leitura decodificadora que pouco contribui para a formação do leitor crítico e proficiente. Para tal, o caminho teórico ancora-se na concepção interacionista de linguagem e na sua perspectiva dialógica oriunda dos estudos bakhtinianos, e, por relacionar-se a questões da prática pedagógica, circunscreve-se no campo da Linguística Aplicada. A metodologia está configurada, parcialmente em aspectos metodológicos de uma pesquisa-ação de natureza qualitativa-interpretativa. Para a geração de dados, a pesquisa deteve-se na análise de um Plano de Trabalho Docente, doravante PTD, utilizando o gênero discursivo propaganda impressa em um quinto ano do Ensino Fundamental no ano de 2016. As reflexões acerca deste Plano permitem afirmar que está atrelado com a proposta didática que o fundamenta, porém, de acordo com a fundamentação teórico-metodológica da presente pesquisa, apresenta lacunas em relação às práticas de leitura e análise linguística com atividades deslocadas ou fora de ordem e, além de um trabalho superficial com a linguagem multimodal. Apresenta, também, nuances da perspectiva bakhtiniana da linguagem, entretanto, faz-se necessário que haja uma ressignificação. Como resultado desta ressignificação, o novo PTD respeitou as fases de pré-leitura, leitura e interpretação e as categorias bakhtinianas do gênero discursivo, a saber: conteúdo temático, estilo e estrutura composicional. Dessa forma, o objetivo foi favorecer o desenvolvimento de um leitor crítico e não um mero decodificador de aspectos verbais e não-verbais da linguagem presentes nas propagandas impressas. Constatou-se, então, que, por meio da ressignificação do PTD, a possibilidade de uma leitura crítica e significativa nas interações entre leitor e os enunciados está, de fato, presente nesse gênero discursivo

ABSTRACT: This professional master's research aims to elaborate a pedagogical proposal through the print advertisement speech genre in a fifth-grade context in Elementary School. This genre was chosen since it is present in the municipal's network curriculum where the teacher-researcher works. Also, in the student's receptivity and involvement in the reading practices and linguistic analysis of these speech genres, whether it happens during study or during the social campaigns in which the educational network takes part, as the concern to meet the social interests of working with multimodal genres in the classroom. However, facing the language discursive practices in the Portuguese language classes about this genre, we realize that, in general, the students perform a decoding reading that does not contribute much to the creation of a critical and proficient reader. For this purpose, the theoretical path is based on a pedagogical perspective of an interactive language and on the Bakhtinian dialogical perspective. In addition, due to its relationship with issues of pedagogical practice, it limits the field of Applied Linguistics. The methodology is partly configured in methodological aspects of an action research encompassed by a qualitative-interpretative nature. In order to generate data, the focus of the research was in the analysis of a Teaching Work Plan, i.e. TWP, using the print advertisement speech genre in a fifth-grade context in Elementary School in the year of 2016. The considerations about this plan allow the affirmation that it is linked to the didactic proposal on which it is based. However, according to the theoretical-methodological basis of the research, it shows related gaps between the reading practices, the linguistic analysis and displaced or out-of-order activities. In addition, it shows a superficial work on the multimodal language. It also presents gradations of the Bakhtinian perspective of language. However, a re-signification is necessary. So, as a result of this re-signification, the new TWP respects the pre-reading, reading and interpretation phases and the Bakhtinian categories of the speech genre: thematic content, style and compositional structure. Therefore, the objective of this research was to assist the development of a critical reader and not to create a mere decoder of verbal and non-verbal aspects of the language in which the print advertisements are written. Finally, through the re-signification of the TWP, it was verified that the possibility of a critical and meaningful reading in the interactions between the reader and the statements is, in fact, part of the print advertisement speech genre
