Condições e subjetividades docentes no ensino superior privado em Maringá/PR : perspectivas em histórias de vida

Abstract

RESUMO: A educação tem passado por um processo de reordenação em nível global, envolvendo questões como a privatização e expansão do ensino. Apesar do tema amplo que se constitui a educação, o escopo desta pesquisa está voltado para o ensino superior privado. Os desdobramentos nesse campo têm produzido reflexos, não só na educação, mas também no trabalho e carreira do professor que atua nessa área. O debate nesta dissertação trata de questões vinculadas a esse contexto, passando por temas como flexibilização do trabalho docente, educação a distância e subjetividade docente. A abordagem teórica entorno dessas questões, teve amparo nas considerações de autores como Stephen Ball, professor do Instituto de educação da Universidade de Londres. A partir de suas proposições foi possível apresentar uma perspectiva global sobre o momento atual pelo qual a educação tem passado. Outros autores somaram-se para pensarmos esses temas, porém numa perspectiva do contexto brasileiro da educação. Entre eles, fizemos uso das proposições de Deise Mancebo, professora da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), cujas contribuições ajudaram na introdução das questões apontadas neste resumo, voltadas principalmente para o ensino superior. O uso de dados, vinculados ao último Censo do ensino superior (INEP 2017), foi também, um importante recurso para consolidar a análise de elementos envolvidos no contexto dessa categoria de ensino. Desta forma, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo principal, conhecer a perspectiva docente sobre seu trabalho e carreia nesse contexto apresentado. Para uma melhor compreensão e aprofundamento do tema, a presente pesquisa foi delimitada ao campo maringaense do ensino superior. Outro importante recurso que contribuiu para viabilizar esta pesquisa, foi o método Histórias de vida, mediado por entrevistas não estruturadas. Através dele foi possível conhecer a perspectiva docente sobre seu trabalho no ensino superior. O método é apresentado neste trabalho a partir de textos produzidos nesse campo do conhecimento, por autores como Belmira Oliveira Bueno, que é professora de educação da Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Os resultados obtidos, foram possíveis, considerando principalmente a importante contribuição dada pelos profissionais da educação que participaram da pesquisa - relatando um pouco de suas histórias de vida, e de suas trajetórias no ensino superior. Os tempos de estudo, desde os anos no ensino fundamental, chegando ao ingresso e conclusão do ensino superior, são momentos marcados nas falas dos personagens. Outro momento importante nessas narrativas, conta sobre o ingresso desses profissionais na carreira docente, onde foi possível notar suas primeiras impressões sobre as dinâmicas envolvidas no ofício de professor. A partir desses relatos, percebemos um profissional consciente de sua realidade, e ao mesmo tempo, vista por ele como precarizada - frente aos tempos vividos, que tem imposto mudanças em sua forma de trabalhar, no modo de ser professor e na carreira profissional. O resultado deste trabalho, apresentamos aqui neste texto, onde, o relato de professores constituiu-se o centro de nossa reflexão

ABSTRACT: Education has been undergoing a process of reorganization at a global level, involving issues such as privatization and expansion of education. Despite the broad theme that constitutes education, the scope of this research is focused on private higher education. The developments in this field have produced reflexes, not only in education, but also in the work and career of the teacher who works in this area. The debate in this dissertation deals with issues related to this context, including themes such as making the teaching work more flexible, distance education and teaching subjectivity. The theoretical approach surrounding these issues was supported by the considerations of authors such as Stephen Ball, professor at the Institute of Education at the University of London. From their propositions it was possible to present a global perspective on the current moment through which education has passed. Other authors joined in to think about these themes, but from a perspective of the Brazilian context of education. Among them, we used the propositions of Deise Mancebo, a professor at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), whose contributions helped to introduce the issues highlighted in this summary, mainly focused on higher education. The use of data, linked to the last Higher Education Census (INEP 2017), was also an important resource to consolidate the analysis of elements involved in the context of this teaching category. Thus, this research had as its main objective, to know the teaching perspective about their work and career in this context presented. For a better understanding and deepening of the theme, this research was limited to the Maringa field of higher education. Another important resource that contributed to making this research feasible was the Life Stories method, mediated by unstructured interviews. Through it, it was possible to know the teaching perspective on their work in higher education. The method is presented in this work from texts produced in this field of knowledge, by authors such as Belmira Oliveira Bueno, who is a professor of education at the University of São Paulo (USP). The results obtained were possible, mainly considering the important contribution given by the education professionals who participated in the research - reporting a little about their life stories, and their trajectories in higher education. The periods of study, from the years in elementary school, until entering and completing higher education, are moments marked in the characters' speeches. Another important moment in these narratives tells about the entry of these professionals in the teaching career, where it was possible to notice their first impressions about the dynamics involved in the teaching profession. Based on these reports, we perceive a professional who is aware of his reality, and at the same time, seen by him as precarious - compared to the times experienced, which have imposed changes in his way of working, in the way of being a teacher and in his professional career.
